Valerius Geist is Professor Emeritus of Environmental Science in the faculty of Environmental Design of the University of Calgary. Val is certified as a Professional Biologist and is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a member of the European Conseil International de la Chasse.

Dale Toweill holds a Ph.D. in wildlife management and is a Certified Wildlife Biologist. He has worked for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game for over 20 years, where he presently supervises statewide management for mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and moose.
