Feeling tense, over-worked and upset about relationships or tough economic problems? An effective antidote is a new book, NoRegrets, A Guide for Creating Lasting Happiness, by Arizona author Ed Feyereisen, Ph.D., who prefers to be called 'Dr. Ed'.

Edward Feyereisen, Doctor of Psychology, who prefers to be known simply as Dr. Ed, was raised on a farm in Wisconsin and spent more than 20 years as a high school science teacher, working in St. Paul, MN and the Chicago, IL area. He earned two masters degrees in biology and psychology (University of South Dakota and University of Chicago), as well as a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from California Coast University. In 1986 he moved to Arizona, switching career paths to focus on adult personal development. For 13 years Dr. Ed was a corporate trainer working with leaders of many Fortune 100 companies through the Dale Carnegie Systems. This executive coach and noted motivational speaker is the founder and CEO of the Native American Leadership Academy, a top training company in the field of Indian gaming. In his work with more than 70 Indian nations in the USA and Canada, he often is called ôDr. Hope.ö He explains, ôI know that 'hope' is a tremendous gift that triggers the creation of unlimited opportunities. Bringing hope and inspiring pride in the people of Indian Country has brought me tremendous happiness, rewards and humility.ö A lifelong student and astute observer of human behavior, Dr. Ed researched many elements of human potential and success in both business and personal life. His mother's death triggered a period of retrospection, inspiration and the realization that his life purpose is to assist others in finding their personal greatness and happiness. ôToo many people burden themselves with unnecessary guilt and worry, trying to live up to other people's expectations. Dr. Ed says he lives ôin heavenö in the Tonto National Forest near Payson, AZ. with his wife of 40 years. He enjoys spending time with his three grown sons and five grandchildren whenever possible.
