Logic of Imagination forges a sweeping vision of the character of thinking and the expanse of the imagination. Continuing the philosophical project of his book, Force of Imagination, John Sallis extends his consideration of the powers of the imagination beyond the horizons of his earlier work. Sallis takes the storms and stirrings of the human imagination as a means to grapple with questions of existence, modern science, and the expansion of the universe. Sallis provokes new readings of Plato, Aristotle, Shakespeare, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Heidegger as he contemplates the unimaginable, perhaps even unthinkable, character of our place in the cosmos.
