Loreen She's the One

The remarkable story of Swedish singer and songwriter—and two-time Eurovision winner—Loreen

Loreen was born in Stockholm, Sweden, to Moroccan Berber parents, and rose to fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 with her song “Euphoria.” Following her Eurovision success, Loreen released her debut album Heal in 2012. The album showcased her unique sound, characterized by a blend of pop, dance, and electronic elements, and received incredible reviews from critics.

Loreen also won the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest held in Liverpool England with her song "Tattoo." Loreen’s victory at Eurovision 2023 brought her international recognition and established her as a prominent pop artist. “Tattoo” had become a massive hit across Europe and topped the charts in several countries. Loreen’s powerful vocals, captivated audiences and made her performance one of the most memorable in Eurovision history.

Loreen has been an advocate for various causes, including human rights, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights. Her outspokenness on these issues has further endeared her to her fans and demonstrated her commitment to using her platform for positive change.
