The Luckless Prince

Found wandering in the forest when he was only five years old, Stefan has grown up as a loyal squire, companion and loving friend to the temperamental Prince Roland. When Roland persuades his father to let him travel on a merchant expedition, Stefan refuses to be left behind despite his disability, knowing Roland plans to escape the expedition and take off on his own.Before Roland can compete his plan, the barge is attacked, and Stefan is severely injured. It soon becomes clear someone wants the prince dead, and it isn't difficult figuring out who it is--his ambitious cousin Norfulk.
