Magnetics, Dielectrics, and Wave Propagation with MATLAB« Codes

This book describes wave propagation in magneto-dielectric materials. The text considers the magnetic state of a magnetic ion, for example, at the atomic scale, and provides a mathematical link to wave propagation at the macroscopic scale. It presents qualitative and quantitative arguments to calculate magnetic parameters from first principles.
