Benjamin Murphy, a wealthy attorney from New York discovers he is the sole recipient of his grandfather's will. The mansion was part of the inheritance from his grandfather, the much-loved Willard Murphy. As Benjamin takes residence in the mansion, he quickly makes another discovery - the beautiful, local police officer named JC (Janice Caroline) Smith.
