Ten-year-old Maria and her family are moving from Columbus, Ohio to Charleston, South Carolina. Maria has a lot of friends in school in Ohio—including Adam, Jania, Sara, Noah, and Emma—and they do a lot of things together. Their favorite pastime after school is to go exploring in parks, where they find different types of plants and animals. But now Maria is panicking because she's moving to Charleston. Oh no!
