Marking Time

Marking Time chronicles seven years observing innocent, or merely marginally guilty, and always grossly over-punished Federal Prison Inmates, searching for that 'Criminal Mind' that criminologists describe as elusive and extraordinary, but the 'holier than thou' US regards as apparent and ubiquitous, and confirming US' system of justice as severely damaged, possibly beyond repair, wherein life tenured Black Robes mete 'Just US,' pursuant to the 'Rule of Ours' instead of Justice and the Rule of Law they mouth when and where it will not matter, in the proverbial 'Federal Case,' wherein the phrase 'no respecter of persons' is given perverse, sinister meaning, wherein the accused is 'guilty until proven innocent beyond all doubt' instead of 'innocent until proven guilty by a jury of one's peers beyond a reasonable doubt,' wherein the innocent and ignorant are trapped, stripped of their assets, dignity, families, freedoms and futures in US' phony Holy Wars on Crimes and Drugs, both of which US fabricates, distributes, and presents to juries through schnitzes that US bribes for entrapments and testimony, all to US' momentary aggrandizement, but everlasting shame.
