The Marriage of Figaro

Mozart's beloved comic romp, reprinted from a late (C. F. Peters, 1941) but beautifully engraved and highly regarded edition, which preserves Mozart's autograph manuscript and early translations of the libretto and includes passages that are often cut in other editions.

A child prodigy who blossomed into the Classical era's most influential composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–91) wrote more than 600 works in his brief life. His oeuvre encompasses a wide variety of genres, including symphonic, chamber, operatic, and choral music.
