A Medicine Wheel is a visual representation of all possible experiences of a human incarnation, and the processes involved in attaining these experiences. With writings, poems, and additional helpful resources, Medicine Wheel: The Evolution of Consciousness is a new map to your spiritual journey.The Wheel begins in the south and moves in a clockwise direction, ending in the east. The discussion of each direction explores the kinds of experiences possible, and what is required to move to the next position. Included are images of a wheel created using special stones representing the four directions that can be used to identify where you are in your own journey around the Wheel.The text is supported by explorations of the authors own journey, both in the form of essays and poems, in hopes they will stimulate, challenge, and further one's movement around the Wheel.

Robert W. Hart was just twelve years old when he had what the Buddhists would call "a moment of perfect vision"—a spontaneous transcendent moment that foreshadowed a lifelong journey to try and understand his experiences. The journey took him into religious and mystical traditions, from which he gleaned useful information toward completing the journey. Along the way, a new map emerged—one that could be used to envision the entire path from unenlightened to enlightened. This map became the Medicine Wheel. After years of exploration, we now have the knowledge of how the process works from a physiologic standpoint, and how it can help us understand all that's possible in terms of the human experience.
