This volume provides a thorough analysis of Iraq's political history to reveal an alternative and more complex lens through which to view its present. The work takes an interdisciplinary approach to challenge the traditional Western 'discourses of democracy' providing a more inclusive and robust narrative that includes marginalised movements, histories and stories.
