Annie Guyton Abrams, born and raised in Metcalfe, Georgia, grew up during an era of segregation and profound social change. Despite many challenges, she built a successful career, retiring as an Information Technologist for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Department of Defense, after 34 years of service.
A dedicated elder in her church, Annie is passionate about teaching the Word of God and inspiring others to rise above their circumstances. She mentors the younger generation, encouraging them to recognize their God-given potential, set ambitious goals, and pursue their dreams with faith and determination. She believes in resilience, integrity, and purpose, reminding others that with faith and perseverance, no obstacle is insurmountable.
Annie is the author of Trending Memories: A Daughter's Account of Caring for a Mother with Dementia, a heartfelt reflection on love, faith, and caregiving. Through her writing and teaching, she continues to uplift and inspire others.
