Lox can’t pick a good woman to save his life. Just when he thought he had moved on from Sahnai and found love with Alani, her past catches up with her. Lox now has to deal with the fact that Alani is a liar like all the other women in his life. Tired of picking up the pieces of everyone else’s broken heart, he decides to focus on only his children, until he realizes the consequences of turning his back for even a moment.

Tina Marie Turner didn't always have it easy. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she came to New York as a child and grew up in extreme poverty. As a teenager, she put herself through college while raising her daughter and working two full-time jobs. Tina now has an A.A. in humanities and social science, a B.A. in English literature, and a master’s degree in international business. She is the mother of two children.
