Narrative Emotionen

"Emotions such as fear, shame, distrust are such an integral part of human existence that it is difficult to imagine what a human life would be like without them." What are emotions? How do we recognize them in ourselves and in others? In this book, Christiane Voss develops a theory of "narrative emotions". In her view, emotions are always based on a common structure, they are registered in a narrative and representational context of meaning. Voss provides both a historical and systematic introduction to this field.
