National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Trees: Eastern Region Region

The author, Elbert L. Little, was Chief Dendrologist of the U.S. Forest Service. After retiring, he served as a Research Associate in the Department of Botany, U.S. National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution.
