Jessica is a successful lesbian romance novelist who hasn't dated in over a decade, and hasn't written a new novel in years. Her inability to move on with her life after her wife's death forces her literary agent and her best friend to convince her to date again - for her own well-being, and to break her writer's block.Venturing out into an unfamiliar dating scene, Jessica meets three intriguing women. Kate, the young clerk at a local coffee shop, is infatuated with her and seems willing to do just about anything for Jessica's approval. Jo is a professional photographer specializing in nature scenes, but her brooding demeanor is better suited to her less-public photography projects: capturing intimate moments between couples. Adrian appears to be a stereotypical motorcycle rider: tattoos, attitude and all, but Jessica discovers there is much more going on beneath the surface.Complicating her life further is the attention Jessica receives from an unknown admirer - flattering, until admiration turns into obsession.
