A New Beginning My Photographic Adventure During the Return of Live Music to Austin.

"A New Begining" is a captivating collection of photographs, stories, and observations of an amateur photographer who ventured into the world of concert photography during the return of live music to Austin, Texas, after a devastating shutdown due to COVID. Musicians have suffered greatly, and their return was uncertain. As venues slowly opened, this photographer witnessed their passion for music, and determination to succeed and was inspired to overcome the obstacles before him.

Born and raised in Texas, Michael Wright is a medical software consultant by profession. Since September 2020, he has been photographing musicians in concert in the greater Austin area. His passion is to capture, and to preserve, the actions of these amazing people, known as musicians, who want nothing more than to share their passion of music with us.
