New Poetries III An Introductory Anthology

Drawing authors ranging from the ages of 15 to 60 from around the world, this anthology presents several talented contemporary poets who have not been published extensively. A variety of accents, movements, and schools of thought can be found here, from Togara Muzanenhamo’s Zimbabwe to Linda Chase’s New York. Each poet adds to the collective resources of poetry, contributing their history, landscape, and language. Authors include Caroline Bird, Linda Chase, David Morley, Togara Muzanenhamo, James Sutherland-Smith, and Mary O’Malley.

Michael Schmidt is a professor and director of the writing school at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is the author of Lives of Poets and editor of The Harvill Book of Twentieth-Century Poetry in English. He lives in Manchester, England.
