Wyatt Kaldenberg's Odinism: Inside The Belly Of the Belly is his second book on the political and social issues that face modern Odinism. The chapters in this book include:Chapter 1: Odinism Must Be An Alternative To the Age of Man Chapter 2: It Is Our Destiny To Take Power Over Our LivesChapter 3: Big Lies Are The Grease That Make The Wheels of Democracy RollChapter 4: How the Free Enterprise System is Murdering America and the Entire WestChapter 5: Capitalism Is An Enemy of Our PeopleChapter 6: Leo Tolstoy,  Ragnar Redbeard, and Odinism Chapter 7: The Four Major Reasons The West is Falling ApartChapter 8: Odinists Must Walk Our Own PathChapter 9: Universities Are The Vanguard of The Dictatorship of the ProletariatChapter 10 There Is Something Very Spiritually Wrong With The WorldChapter 11: Being Odinist in the Belly of the BeastIn the introduction, Mr. Kaldenberg tells us, "Heathendom is made up of several branches: Odinism, Wotanism, Theodism, Vanatru, and so on. I am reluctant to include Aryan Paganism, Pan-Aryan Paganism, and Norse Wicca into the Heathen community, since they are more Neo-Pagan than Heathen. Odinism is only one branch of the Heathen community. Odinism has three branches: Australian, British, and North American." The author goes on to explain, "Odinism is a religion, a social view, a political view point, and much more. It is not interchangeable with other forms of Heathenry. All Odinists are some form of nationalist. By nationalist, I mean someone who believes in nations and is against the global village, a world without borders, the new world order....." Kaldenberg goes on to say, "Odinism is a modern religion. Asatru is a modern religion that, like Wicca, often pretends to be an ancient religion. Both Asatru and Odinism are rooted in the surviving fragments of the old faith, but neither are an exact reproduction, because too much has been lost. Unlike Wicca, Odinism and Asatru are rooted in a real ancient tradition. However, much of our old tradition is lost.""Of all the Neo-Heathen religions practiced today, Wotanism, Odinism, and Asatru are the three oldest. Wotanism goes back to Germany in the early 1800s, while Odinism began in Australia in the 1920s. Asatru was created in America and Iceland during the early 1970s. All three are based on known fragments of the religion practiced by our Northern European ancestors. However, little has survived of the old faith. Nothing written by Heathens themselves has survived. All the fragments we do have were written by non-Heathens. Most of these writers had never met a Heathen in their lives, so the old literature is problematic at best. Contemporary Heathenry has created modern theories to explain these fragments. Some modern Heathens claim to practice a religion identical to the one our forefathers practiced. Sadly, this is untrue. No Heathens today practices the same religion that our ancestors did. It is impossible to even know with any certainty what that religion was. All of Heathendom today is a modern creation based on historic fragments and views of non-Heathens. One of the biggest difference between Asatru and Odinism is that Asatru people put great importance in studying the past, while Odinists apply our religion to here and now. These are two radically different focuses. They lead to dissimilar directions."So begins Mr. Kaldenberg's book Odinism Inside The Belly Of the Belly: Essays on Heathenism inside The New World Order.
