Uri Ben-Eliezer is a political sociologist at the University of Haifa, Israel. He is the author of The Making of Israeli Militarism and the co-author (with Majid Al Hag) of In the Name of Security. He has published numerous articles on Israel as a nation-in-arms, Israel's civil society, social movements, and democracy.
