The Old Lady and The Tortoise and other Poems

The book is a collection of Illustrated poems meant to be accessible in a way poetry often is not, telling stories about life's experiences in a manner that captures imagination. There are stories from every stage of life, evoking nostalgia about times gone by, our hopes and dreams, our doubts and fears, those we have loved and lost, and the yearning for true meaning. The illustrations bring the stories alive and, together with the poems, the book weaves a simple and relateable tale of our shared journey along life's pathways, with its unexpected twists and turns, in which joy and sadness are twin companions.

Anthony Haller was born in Nairobi. Kenya and moved to Leeds, England at the age of 11. He won an open scholarship to St Catharine's College, Cambridge where he read Law. After graduating from Cambridge, he was awarded the Thouron Fellowship to study at University of Pennsylvania Law School where he completed his LLM. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1979 and is a Bencher of Gray's Inn, London. He was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1982. He is a partner at Blank Rome LLP, a large national law firm where he pratices Labor & Employment Law. He is married with two daughters, and he lives in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania.
Keeanna Gregoris is a graduate of The King's College earning a B.A. in Media, Culture, and the Arts. She worked as a Creator for VaynerMedia and is currently a Content Creator at Love Social Media. She is a talented illustrator and animator. She lives in New York City.
