It Only Takes One

They live in a town called A Better Place ¿ where everyone has everything they can ever want or need to make them happy. But still, an angel is sent to convince them they need something more ¿ something so wondrous that without it, even though they have everything, they really have nothing at all. Twelve year old Starly¿s life has been turned upside down, because her parents left A Better Place without her and her brother Cross. They won¿t be reunited until their leader, the very affluent Mr. Divario, says the time is right. It¿s already been six months. Is it ever going to happen? When Starly meets an angel named Jack, she thinks he¿s come with news of her parents. But Jack has something else in mind, something she doesn¿t want to talk about: God¿s love. She feels that, if God cared for her, He wouldn¿t have separated her family, that her future happiness rests solely in the hands of her leader, the only one who can bring them together again. But her pleas to him fall onto deaf ears. It takes a tragedy to finally open the eyes of Mr. Divario. But is it too late? Will Starly and her brother ever be reunited with their parents?
