A Christian biblical apologetic presenting Jesus's claims about himself and the Bible's claims about Jesus that seemed to his hearers (and later to Bible readers) to be outrageous, and which make sense only by acknowledging that he is truly Lord. Nineteen of those claims present a Biblical picture of who Jesus is, his Incarnation, his life, his teachings, his Atonement and Resurrection, his Church which he is building, his present ministry of forgiving sin and answering prayer, a summary of future events including the Rapture, his return as Judge and King, and a challenge to readers to know him as Savior and Lord in a relationship of radical discipleship. Robert Carey is a graduate of Northwestern Bible College and Trinity Theological Seminary (Now Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.) He and his wife, Althea, and their four children served as missionaries in the Philippines with the Evangelical Free Church Mission from 1963-1999. They presently live in Olathe, KS.
