Oxford Poets 2004

The work of both new and established poets is introduced to a wider readership in this fourth anthology in the Oxford Poets series. The poets featured represent the rich variety of concerns, voices, and strategies in current writing, including Karen Annesen, Joseph Butler, Margaret Easton, Helen Farish, Kelly Grovier, John Mason, Ann Phillips, Christopher Southgate, Julian Stannard, and Greg Sweetnam. All of these poets share the candor and invention that are hallmarks of the series.

David Constantine is an authority on Holderlin, as well as a poet and translator. He is the author of Something for the Ghosts. Bernard O'Donoghue teaches medieval English at Wadham College–Oxford and has published four collections of poetry, including Here nor There.
