As, Shakira continues to travel on her journey headed towards healing, moving forward, and getting closer to the light. She stumbles across the attacks of more pain. This time it seems like its coming from everyone closest to her. Her mind tells her to run and go back to her old habits and ways but, she quickly remembers those old habits and ways led her to a dead end. So, instead of listening to her mind and letting the emotions of her heart guide her. She applies what she's been taught. Which is to pray, seek God's face wholeheartedly, and follow her spirit. Shakira is a Daughter of the Most High one and only God. She is thankful to him for blessing her with the healing gift of writing poetry. Releasing her from the bondage of her past. Giving her a safe space to speak her truth. Allowing her to say more in this book. Freeing and giving that broken little girl inside of her a voice to finally be heard.
