Paradise Interrupted

Jennifer Allen has finished her first year of college. She is forced to go on vacation with her overbearing father and brother Jimmy who just graduated high school. A fire on board the sailboat separates brother and sister. Jimmy is sent on a mission to find help with only minimal survival tools provided by their Marine Captain father.Jennifer must find safety on her own after an explosion on the vesselsends the captain down with the ship. She is not aware her brothersurvived the blast. She washes ashore on Bills island.Bill has spent the the last couple of years creating paradise and enjoying the solitude. Life dealt him an unpleasant hand. At fifty-years-old Bill had seen enough of mans inhumanity. The last thing he expects, or wants, is company.Jimmy does not know his father is no longer able to protect Jennifer as she follows the orders he has been given. Swimming from island to island mapped on the hand-held GPS, he must use all the skills his fatherprovided. Nature has a way of slowing his progress. Each island offers a new set of obstacles, including Lana who saves his life by taking him as her husband. She pays a heavy price for helping Jimmy escape the island over which her father reigns.Is loving someone enough to let them go, enough to cause them to return? This adventure/romance is woven around the idea of finding true happiness and how different paradise may look to each of us.
