Participatory Livestock Research

However, the case for participatory research is just as strong in relation to livestock as it is in relation to crops; and there has been increasing recognition that livestock research needs to give greater emphasis to farmer participation. This book is intended to help livestock researchers and practitioners to overcome the potential difficulties associated with participatory livestock research. The book is aimed at: livestock and rangeland researchers (in national agricultural research systems, universities and NGOs); extensionists and practitioners of livestock development (in livestock service agencies and NGOs).
