While nothing like the ornate sled with its spinning wheel and crystal knobs in Orson Welles¿ book, The Time Machine, Harry Breeden¿s old cabin cruiser worked just as well for skimming across the waves of time. Of course, Breeden didn¿t head out that day intending to cross any major time zones, either, so he had none of the gauges to tell him where he was, or when. It took him a while to realize that the calendar had been turned back over fifty years. His Chris Craft Constellation, an antique in his own time, now appeared ultra-modern.
