Pi-rat!

Meet Pi-Rat and his swashbuckling crew. They're fearsome! They're brave! They make their own rules! These pirates aren't afraid of crocodiles. They aren't afraid of sharks. There's only one thing that scares them....

Maxine was born in Liverpool, England where she still lives with her partner and their two boys. After gaining an HND in Multimedia Arts and a BA with Honors in Digital Arts in 2004, Maxine went on to teach a variety of creative subjects before concentrating on her freelance career as an author and illustrator. Unable to let go of college life, she also works part-time as a technician in the Art Department in St. Helens. In her spare time, Maxine enjoys doing anything except for staying still.
