Not until the following morning, when the pirate ship had long sailed from Charles Town, did the pirates discover their error. Now it became a matter of what to do with the girl, and it did not help the young woman's predicament that she'd been screaming all night to be returned to her family in Charles Town. Blackbeard was not known to be a patient man.
