Demosthenes Bouros is Professor of Pneumonology; Head, Department of Pneumonology; and Chair, Department of Internal Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace; and Chair, Department of Internal Medicine, University Hospital of Alexandroupolis, Alexandroupolis, Greece. Dr. Bouros received his M.D. from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, and his Ph.D. from University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He is a member of many international societies, including the European Respiratory Society, the American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
