Pondering Postinternationalism : A Paradigm for the Twenty-First Century?

James N. Rosenau has fashioned a paradigm for the study of international relations known as the postinternational paradigm or turbulence theory that incorporates both state and "nonstate" actors in the current rapidly changing world order. Hobbs (political science, North Carolina State U.) and 13 other scholars of political science and international affairs provide essays that reexamine and critique postinternationalism covering topics of citizenship, sovereignty, and international relations theory in light of postinternationalism.
