Practicing Military Anthropology: Beyond Expectations and Traditional Boundaries

The relationship between anthropologists and the United States military has commanded a lot of attention, especially in regard to the controversial Human Terrains System (HTS) that embeds anthropologists in military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
