Muhammad Munir, Professor, Department of Law, International Islamic University
Dr Muhammad Munir is Associate Professor at the Department of Law, International Islamic University, Islamabad. He holds a PhD from the University of Karachi, LLM in International Law from Stockholm University, and LLB as well as LLM from International Islamic University, Islamabad. Dr Munir has won the Higher Education Commission's (Government of Pakistan) Best University Teacher Award for the year 2003; Outstanding Research Paper Award for the year 2005-2006, and 2011. He has presented papers in many conferences and spoken in numerous seminars and workshops abroad, including in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Jordan, India, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and South Africa. Dr Munir is the author of over 25 journal articles on Jurisprudence, Muslim Personal Law, and Islamic International Law.
