He is the former director of training and development for REVCO, former director of training and development for Mount Sinai Medical Center, and a former professor at North Carolina State University. He is the author of numerous books including <I>Instructional Design</I> (Pfeiffer) and <I>Self-Directed Learning: A Practical Guide to Design </I>(Jossey-Bass).
