A Prison Wife: Doing Time My Story

This book is dedicated to all the women that has travelled many miles, endured criticism from family and friend, attitudes from the CO, sacrificed money and time, and most of all stop living their
dreams to "do time" with the man they love.

After 30 years of being apart God reunited Darris and Redina. Shortly after being reunited on December 19, 2020, Darris proposed to Redina and they were married September 14, 2021. Redina visits Darris faithfully at a California State Prison.

Redina is currently pursuing her licensure as an Associate Marriage Family and Therapist, is Certified as Alcohol Drug Counselor, and is the Founder of Shattered Lives: Rebuilding Piece by Piece, a ministry that gears towards Healing, Transformation and Wholeness for hurting women that has been affected by trauma, prison, and addiction. She plans to pursue her Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapist. She further plans to counsel married couples that has been affected by Substance abuse.

Redina Adams currently reside in Southern California. She's been a born-again believer for 38 years and is currently an active member at Fresh Church Ministry.

Redina's greatest joy was raising her three great nephews, Kumari, Jamarae, and Tarae, who are now young adults that are inspiring to do great things in their lives.
