Problems in Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics

Well respected and widely used, this volume presents problems and full solutions related to a wide range of topics in thermodynamics, statistical physics, and statistical mechanics. Peter T. Landsberg (1922–2010) taught at University College Cardiff from 1959 to 1971 and held the chair in Applied Mathematics at the University of Southampton from 1982 to 1987. He wrote, edited, and coauthored 11 books, including Dover's Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, and more than 400 scientific papers.
