Mitchell L. Springer currently serves as the Director of the Center for professional Studies in Technology and Applied Research at Purdue Univerity. He possesses neary thirty years of theoretical and industry-based practical experience form four disciplines: software engineering, systems engineering, program management, and human resources. An internationally recognized educator and author, Springer has authored numerous articles and books, including Program Management: A Comprehensive Overview of the Discipline (2001), and has lectured on software development methodologies, management practices, and program management. He received his Bachelor of Science in computer science form Purdue University and his MBA and doctorate in executive development from Bals State University. He is certified as both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Senior Professional in Human Reources (SPHR).
