Prosely the Pole-Vaulting Pronghorn

This is the adventurous tale of how an ordinary pronghorn develops a most extraordinary skill. A series of unusual events leads Prosely to discover pole vaulting. Despite initially meeting resistance from his herdmates, Prosely decides to use his new-found skill to vault over the top of fences rather than crawling underneath them in the normal pronghorn manner. Prosely's tale takes an unexpected turn when he decides to head into town and take on the humans in a pole vaulting competition. More twists and turns await when a wildfire forces a fierce pack of wolves from their mountain home and onto the High Plains-smack dab into the middle of pronghorn country. A quarrelsome pheasant, a few humans and several other pronghorn characters combine to add additional humor, excitement and a few surprises to this action-packed story, as the fate of Prosely's herd ultimately depends upon his heroic actions!
