Provenience Khagan

Facing near extinction, the old empire fights through embers against the metallic-star-systems. The once enlightened past has vanished, technology and inventions are becoming repressed, exploration forbidden, and stagnation has become increasingly more accepted. All living beings are under the constant threat of being forced into a bond debt, forever kept in servitude and forced to bow to the vow all organic beings had to swear. Only a few remain free, but they are forced to live in the shadows as the rest endure the enigmatic Corporate Imperium.
For Jonas Khagan, this is the only reality he knows. The rule of the Corporate Imperium has been a constant in his life, even with the war a constant looming thought. With the world constantly changing, no path was ever certain but when Jonas' father suddenly passes, he is faced with a decision that he wasn't expecting. Jonas must weigh the risk of continuing his family's legacy or going down another, more dangerous path.

E J Godfrey, a retired police officer currently living in New South Wales Australia, has a strong passion for science fiction. Though he is just coming out with his debut book, "Provenience", he has been developing the Khagan series for over the past ten years.
