Psalm Songs for Lent And Easter

The CD includes a selection of the music in the three volumes of Psalm Songs, which will also be published by Cassell in March 1998 (previously announced, details given below). The Psalm Songs include new music and tried and tested favourites, and each one has a simple but memorable refrain for all to sing, alternating with verses for a soloist or organ and/or instrumental accompaniment.These song settings may be freely used in worship by Christians of all denominations, but Anglicans and Roman Catholics will welcome the liturgical indexes that relate them to the three-year lectionaries.
