Pumpkin Moonshine

It's almost Halloween and little Sylvie Ann has found the biggest, fattest pumpkin. But before she can carve it into a giant, crooked-toothed pumpkin moonshine (or jack-o'Iantern), she has to get it home.

Tasha Tudor is a two-time Caldecott Honor artist with over ninety books to her credit. A New England native, she has spent her entire career celebrating the landscapes, animals, and people of her home. Sylvie Ann, the heroine of Pumpkin Moonshine, is Tasha's niece. The five-year-old was coming from England for a visit, and Tasha wanted to make her a special Christmas gift. Sylvie Ann's adventures with the enormous runaway pumpkin proved to be just that.
