Queen Bee

Good friends Destiny and Brazil are proteges of Essence, the 28-year-old ghetto-fabulous owner of the Queen Bee strip club. When they unintentionally make the mistake of outshining their mentor, trouble follows. Essence likes to be in control and she views her proteges as a threat to her power and her status. Things only get worse when they sleep with Essence's man. Not content with trying to control Destiny and Brazil, she wants to destroy them both, to completely eliminate any threat to her empire. She decides to divide and conquer, subsequently starting a war.

Queens native Mark Anthony is the author of several novels, including Dogism, Paper Chasers, Lady's Night, The Take Down, Reasonable Doubt, and the G-Unit book, Harlem Heat. He currently resides in New York with his family.
