Susan, a young White House staffer comes across a money black market being run in Vietnam by the administration to help finance the President's 1968 re-election campaign. People who discover the black market are being murdered. When a man, Susan believes to be the murderer approaches her, she escapes. With the help of a Navy SEAL Susan travels to Vietnam, and uncovers evidence exposing the black market. Together her and the SEAL travel back to the US and turn the evidence over to the FBI. Susan's romantic involvement with a member of the administration complicates her quest to find the black market evidence. While in Vietnam Susan has a near death combat experience during the Tet offensive of 1968.
