Tyndale Corbett, unemployed agent, divorced and penniless in his forties, for a few days he's impersonating a friend who does not wish to participate in a convention of commercial agents in Miami. After traveling to this city and succeed at the meeting, Tyndale, amazed by the luxury hotels, fun and easy enrichment of some vague intuitions decides to end his grimy mediocrity and aspire high, very high: in fact, be God decides ... or at least try to convince the city that is. For that he needs a parish and found it at The Church of Christ Heavily Armed. But his ministry does not just jelly and Tyndale will call it all with an astounding miracle: die and rise again after a few hours...
