Ania Loomba is the Catherine Bryson Professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the author of Shakespeare, Race and Colonialism, Colonialism/Postcolonialism, and Gender, Race, Renaissance Drama, as well as the co-editor of Postcolonial Studies and Beyond and Postcolonial Shakespeares. Jonathan Burton is Woodburn Associate Professor of English Literature at West Virginia University. He is the author of Traffic and Turning: Islam and English Drama, 1579-1624.
