Andrew Hignell is Head of Geography and the Humanities Faculty at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset. He is an acknowledged expert on Glamorgan County Cricket Club, acting as their Honorary Statistician and Historian, and he has written several books and many articles about the Welsh county and its players. Dr Hignell also manages Glamorgan's website, and during the summer months acts as scorer and statistician for BBC Radio Wales. He lives in the city of Wells with his wife Debra
