Rayna The Brave

A young girl named Caroline loves to write stories that she only shares with her best friend, Ava. When Caroline gets into high school, her drama teacher, Mr. Smith accidentally gets a hold of one of her plays. He decides to stage it, and now her secret creative world is exposed. Add the High school heart throb, Mike, and you have romance, jealousy, and DRAMA!

Melissa River-Clark grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, and attended Oak Park/River Forest High School. Some of her fondest memories are of her hometown and that high school. She made some dear friends in grade school (Oliver Wendell Holmes) who are featured throughout the story. Her grandmother knew Ernest Hemingway; they went to a football game together. Melissa is married, has two children, James and Ashley (twins), and resides in a suburb of Chicago with their beautiful black Labs, Rayna and Kiera.
