Reasonable Religion or the Truths of the Christian Religion Demonstrated (1713)

1713. This work presents Dr. Mather's reasonable religion with incontestable proofs that that who would act reasonably must live religiously, together with the religion of the closet and family religion urged. Dr. Mather discovers great knowledge of gospel grace, and deal with sinners as rational beings. With that skill, it bespeaks him well acquainted with the springs of human nature.
